Here turn left on the A861, go 5 miles to Roshven, a further 400 meters you will see stone gates on the right. Turn down towards Roshven House. Satnav; PH38 4NB is the postcode.
By train. The Scotrail sleeper leaves Euston in London at 9.15pm and arrives 25 miles from Roshven away in Fort William at 9.45am the next morning. Great way to travel. The Glasgow line goes all the way to Mallaig, so only 5 miles from the house to the nearest station, Lochailort. www.scotrail.co.uk
Flying. Glasgow has quite good flights, and its a fairly straight forward 3.5 hour drive up past Loch Lomond and through Glencoe. Inverness is closer but far fewer flights available.
Helicopters and yachts. We’d love to have both visit to add a touch of glamour and excitement. Both are easily managed. www.pdg-helicopters.com.
